"Those Forestry Workers".--Ralph Greenwood and J. F. Porterfield were in Des Moines yesterday where they expect to receive final instructions in regard to the civilian conservation corps work in this county. Information already received here is to the effect that unmarried men between the ages of 18 and 25, who have dependents and who are phsysically qualified for ordinary labor, are eligible to enroll for the work. Men now receiving aid from the county will be selected first. If not enough such men are available, others will then be considered. The county emergency relief committee will be in charge of the work and it is specially ordered that no applications for a place thereon be made to the Des Moines office. The quota for Fremont county is thirty, based upon population, one person to every 500 being the proportion used. Mills county gets thirty, Page fifty, and so on.
