"Death of T.K. Bloom".--The sudden death of Thomas K. Bloom last week at Farragut was great surprise to all of his friends. He had been reading in the drug store of Carl Coleman and started to leave the room and had gotten to the front door when he fell dead. He had been troubled with his heart for several years but did not compain and but few knew of his affliction. Mr. Bloom lived for several years four miles west of Northboro in Page county and then moved to Walnut township, Fremont county, but later gave up the farm and took up his residence in Farragut. He was 72 years of age and a most honorable and honest man. Brief funeral services were held at the home on last Monday morning and then all went to Shenandoah where services were held at the Baptist church of which denomination deceased was a member. Of the ten children all but one were present at the funeral besides numerous grandchildren and other relatives. One daughter, Mrs. Maffett, of South Dakota, was unable to be present. It is understood that Mrs. Bloom will continue her residence in Farragut.
