(1) Sarah __?__, born circa 1820 in Virginia. He was living in Sidney township, Fremont county, Iowa in 1860, and in Athens township, Ringgold county, Iowa in 1870. (But notice where two of his daughters were married in the early 1870's!) The 1881 history of Fremont county, page 497, shows Isaac and his sons Thomas and Robert Morical as members of Company "A" of the Southern Border Brigade, having enlisted on September 17, 1862. Children: (As far as known) 1. Thomas J., b. ca. 1842 in Virginia 2. Robert A., b. ca. 1844 in Virginia 3. Jacob N., b. ca. 1845 inVirginia 4. Elam F., b. ca. 1847 in Iowa 5. Martha Ellen, b. ca. 1850 in IOwa; married John W. Irwin, b. ca. 1850 in Missouri; married on Feb. 15, 1872 in Fremont county, Iowa. Son of John and Maria (Humphrey) Irwin. In the 1880 census for the town of Sidney, their children are shown as (1). Anna M., aged 8, born in Iowa; (2) Wilvus (sic), aged 6, born in Kansas; (3) Mary, aged 4, born in IOwa; (4) John S., aged 1, born in Iowa. 6. Anna A., b. ca. 1853 in IOwa; married Lewis D. Schafer, born ca. 1845; married on Dec. 25, 1873 in Fremont county, Iowa. In the 1880 census for Prairie township, Fremont county, their children are shown as (1) Stella, aged 5 years, born in Iowa; (2) Clyde, aged 2, born in Iowa. (Charlie: It seems to me that I can remember one Clyde Schafer who lived in Prairie township on the highway between Sidney and Shenandoah; I will try to find something to refresh my memory of the 1930's!) 7. CHARLIE: If this be the Isaac Morrical you are interested in, I have had nothing before your communication that pointed to his marriage to one Catherine Burden on April 6, 1877 in Guthrie county, Iowa. I found one Catherine Burden in Jackson township, 1870, Guthrie county, but she was shown as being 17 years in this census.--Walter
