She attended the Tabor schools. When Lillie was still a young girl, her mother died and she and her sister, Bertha, kept house for their father until Lillie married Andy Bachler on November 24, 1897, at Tabor. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Bachler went to their farm near the Wildwood district southwest of Tabor and here they had lived most of their married years. Eleven years ago, Mrs. Bachler was stricken with paralysis and since then, she has been a great sufferer and the past few months she has been very sick and on Wednesday she died at the home north of Thurman. She is survived by her husband, Andy Bachler, three daughters and two sons and sister, Mrs. Bertha Hauptman.
