Brown and his wife, nee Edith D. Bundy. Their son, Hugh Harley Brown had been born in Shelby county, Iowa, on Dec. 26, 1893 . When he married Cora Alice Crandall, daughter of O.E. Crandall and Anna Adkinson, at Hamburg, Iowa on March 2, 1915, he said he was a farmer living near Hamburg. In 1934, he was still living in Washington township, Fremont county, but in 1958 a note I have says he was living at Watson, Missouri, at that time. H.H.Brown had been born in Shelby county in 1893, but his sister Blanche May (Brown) Gardner said she was born on May 7, 1896 near Ute, Monona county, Iowa. This Brown family came to Fremont county in the fall of 1900.
