I'm copying the following from Mabel's notes. 1.--1849: Joseph Frost, 20, and Debby Acord, 17, were married Sept. 9, 1849, at the home of Wesley Oliver.--Fremont county marriages. N.B.: Wesley Oliver for a short time, ran the ferry over Nishnabotna river at a point almost straight west of present Riverton, Iowa. He and his wife moved to the west coast, where it is reported that they lived for many years. It seems to me that I remember reading that the OIiver's and the Acord's were relatives.--W.F. 2.--1850: Federal Census, Fremont county, Iowa. Joseph Frost....21....b. Tenn.
