    3. I am looking for information on the family of Richard "Dickie" BAKER of Farley, Dubuque Co., IA. Richard was b. 18 Oct 1828; d. aft 1880; mar. Elizabeth WALL abt 1852. Richard was an emigrant from Somersetshire (County of Somerset), England Richard and Elizabeth's family were members of the Johns Creek ME Church. Elizabeth was the sister of my g.g.grandfather, William WALL. Both were also emigrants from Somersetshire, England. I am happy to share and swap information.     3. Karla, Are you sure when Richard Baker died? I found a Richard Baker, born Oct. 1828, 71, Eng. in Dodge co., dubuque in 1900. Living w/him is daughter Jennie, 41, Ia. (Jane from 1880?) also found a William Baker in Dodge co. Fits the 1880 William. Dick May you live to be a hundred, with an extra year to repent!     3. Hi Dick, No, I do not know for sure when Richard BAKER died. His wife, Elizabeth (Wall) Baker d. 1884 and is buried in Johns Creek Cemetery out near Cascade/Farley area. What you have certainly sounds like "my" Richard Baker. Wonder where he is buried....... there is no stone for him beside his wife. Was he living in Dodge Township, Dubuque Co. in 1900?
