Jim, your offer to provide information, if any, about our English Ancestors who came to Dubuque County in the mid-1800's is sincerely appreciated. We are trying to find the English origins of William Hinde, and Jane (Snow) Hinde. They came to Dubuque county around 1855, and lived in Jefferson, and/or Center township. We know they ended up buried in the Cottage Hill cemetery near Rickardsville. And we are not sure they are related to other Hinde's in the area. Thank you so very much for any and all information.
