There is family folklore that my gg grandfather, Jno (John probably) THEIS made it to Dubuque with son Theodore and married a woman, possible with the last name of LINEHAN or LENEHAN (etc)? There were 2 main THEIS families in Dubuque. Mine lived around St Columbkille's and St Raphael's Cathedral. The other was concentrated more around the Sacred Heart/Holy Ghost area. If that helps.
