Hi, I am researching the family of Emerand SCHMID, SCHMIDT, SMITH and Lena KRAKOW who were married in Dubuque on July 23, 1877. They had six children born between 1879 and about 1900 including Lucretia, Fannie, Albert, Louis, William, and Otto. I am having a problem locating any of these children in later censuses. Tom, Did your Otto have at least 2 children: Berthold 'Bart' Clemens Schmid and Titus Schmid? If so, may have a connection.
