Hi group, Until November 14, I have access to the Dubuque marriage records Volumes A, 1 and 2, covering the years 1835-1865. I borrowed the film from the LDS folks - #1035386. Many of these records are indexed on the Dubuque GENWEB pages. I am offering to do lookups for folks in the these records. In order to make this manageable, let's limit the requests to two marriages per person. Your chance of success will be greatly increased by giving as much specific information as possible. For example, a request for all Schmidt marriages between 1840 and 1860, will be ignored. A request for a marriage of John Schmidt and Amelia Englehart about 1855 is perfect. I have no idea of how complete the records are or how accurate. Tom in Chapel Hill ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Thanks for the offer, Tom. I'm looking for: Catherine HANSEN (HANSON) married Peter SEEMON (SEAMON etc) I don't have a date. One son was born Oct 1856. Couple were born around 1831. So I would put the marriage around 1859 to 1856. Martin COOLIGAN married Elizabeth TREANOR on April 20, 1857. Couple both born about 1835 - 1837. (I am mostly interested in how Martin spelled his last name. He is proving very elusive.) Thanks again.
