I have a Thomas McGovern that married Philomena Moes at Cascade 11 OCT 1911. Thomas was the son of William McGovern & Jane __?__ , born 15 NOV 1878. This family was living on a farm in Richland twp., Jones County per the 1920 Federal census. There are several decsendants of this family in the Cascade area. I do not know how or if this McGovern relates to the family around the New Mellory / Placid area.
