Hi, could someone check the old Dubuque or Farley newspapers for an obit for me?? I am looking for Joseph Wilson, who died sometime in July 1881, in S.D. He was the founder of Farley, Iowa in 1851. I am hoping that he would be mentioned in one of these newspapers about his death. He left Farley in the 1870's to move with his family to S.D. But no newspapers exist in S.D. for this time. Stephanie, I do not have an obit for Joseph Wilson. I do have a brief write up in a 1996 History of Farley, Iowa, published by the Farley Historical Society. Let me know if you do not have this and I can copy it for you.
