William McGovern, born in Ireland 1825. Jane Heery, born Ireland 1819. They arrive separately in US in 1837. Married at New York 1853. Went to Jones County 1854. William died 1900. Jane died 1906. Couple had 8 children. Two living in 1910: William and Thomas. William married Nellie Hogan, who was born at Castle Grove, Jones County, daughter of D. M & Catherine Hogan.
