    3. Stephanie, I have the History of Dubuque County, published by Goodspeed Historical Association of Chicago. No publication date, but I suspect it to be in the 1890s. Page 516 has an entry for John J. FINN. He was born in 1844 in County Galway, Ireland, son of Thomas & Sabina FINN. The FINN family came to the US in 1851. They lived awhile in Dubuque. They were living in Dubuque when the cholera epidemic hit. Mrs. FINN died of cholera. The family then moved to Jones County, Temple Hill area. Temple Hill is about 7 miles south of Cascade. Later, the father moved back to Dubuque County, Section 20 of Whitewater township. He died there in 1883. Children of Thomas & Sabina FINN were: Patrick Mary Bridget John J. Ann Catherine. If this is any connection to your FINN family, I will type in the entire entry. I know there are still FINN descendants in the Temple Hill and Cascade area. Mr Great Grandparents came to Dubuque, Iowa in the late 1840's from Ireland. They brought three daughters with them, Margaret, Mary and Catherine, then had Julia shortly after they arrived. If there are more children I do not know of them. Any help would deeply be appreciated, thanks. > Stephanie > kosmachenko@cyberlink.bc.ca > > > > ==== IADUBUQU Mailing List ==== > ROLL CALLS?
