I also have a LESLEIN. I don't know origin or birth other than family said Alsace-Lorraine. Her name is Magdaline Leslein born abt 1825. She md Joseph (Frank) Myers. Together they had 10 children: Mary, Magdalene, Lucy, Kate, Frank, Celia, John, Rosa, Anna and William. The family resided in Highland, Clayton Co., Iowa.
