    3. Stephanie, I looked up the source for my information. It is an obit that was found in the Cascade Pioneer newspaper of 8 March 1906. Below is a copy of the notes I took from that obit. Her obituary notice indicates that she was survived by seven of her ten children: James, a local freight agent for the Illinois Central in Dubuque; William R. and Thomas J, grocers in Dubuque; Joseph A., of Memphis; Mrs John McNulty, of Denver; and Elizabeth and Nellie M. of Dubuque. Mrs Linehan also is survived by a sister who was a Sister of Charity (BVM). If you are interested in other Linehans let me know as I have a small collection of them, mostly loose ends, that I have gathered in obits and grave stones from the Dubuque area. Best regards, Patrick L Coleman At 11:41 AM 1/31/2002 -0700, you wrote: >Hello, I am looking for any info on these children James, William R., >Thomas I., Joseph A., Elizabeth, and one more daughter who married >McNulty. 3. Stephanie, I do not have an obit for Joseph Wilson. I do have a brief write up in a 1996 History of Farley, Iowa, published by the Farley Historical Society. Let me know if you do not have this and I can copy it for you. He was the founder of Farley, Iowa in 1851. I am hoping that he would be mentioned in one of these newspapers about his death. He left Farley in the 1870's to move with his family to S.D. 2. To Margaret, who is requesting info about ERNSDORFF: I know of a Loretta ERNSDORF, (1887-1976)who married Edward SCHROEDER, in my line. Edward founded the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra. They lived in Dubuque all their lives and had 5 children--Edward Wendell, who was Secretary to the Archbishop of Dubuque in the 1940s, Ruth, Howard, Richard, Alfred, and Willard. Any connection?

    3. Jean, Yes, Loretta ERNSDORFF is related. She had 2 sisters, Angeline and Alvina. They would be my first cousins, once removed. Their father, Michael, is the brother of my grandfather, and their parents, John and Elizabeth, came to WI from Luxembourg in 1854, moving to Dubuque in the 1860s. I knew about Loretta's marriage to Edward SCHROEDER and his founding of the Orchestra, (believe that I have his obit.) but don't have data on him, or their children. If you have any more that you would share, I would be grateful. What is your connection to Edward?
