Hello - I'm trying to find information about my gr-gr grandmother - and her family who may have been in Des Moines County. Undocumented family history is that gr-gr grandfather, John Creswell died in Grandview, Louisa Co, March 1850. His wife Mary Agnes (Boal) Creswell died June 26 1850 while caring for her mother ??? Boal. Would there be any sort of "look-up" books available for Des Moines County that might verify my information?
