I know there was, and or is, a Centerville town in the Iowa counties of Appanoose and Boone, however can anyone give me information about the one in Des Moines county? The only way I found it, as it is not on any maps, was through the IA Genweb Project page. I am curious as to whether it was part of a larger town, the years it existed and etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Carolyn Murphy
