I am looking for PHOENIX surname in Iowa The family of Robert Phoenix borne in York Shire England early 1800 Came to Canada aprox. 1850 married Jane Gilbert born in Ireland they had several children but I have only Located Two Robert PHOENIX born Clinton Canada, 5/25/1859 married Elizabeth Holdsworth in Beacon IA Sept. 19/1881 and died Lamoni IA. 12/24/1922 and his brother James PHOENIX born Clinton Canada 11/2/1852 married Bertha Andrews3/12/1887 in Macon Co. IL. died in Sangamon Co. IL 11/17/1924 There are a lot more siblings out their I don't know if this family came to IA. together or just the two boys Family lore is that it was the whole Family. if any one knows of this line please contact me.
