He was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born Spt. 23, 1876, in Dodgeville, Ia, the son of Elijah and Sarah Lusk Lyons. He was married to Dora Brockway and had live in Burlington 70 years. Surviving are one son, Ollie Lyons, West Point, Ia; four daughters, Mrs. Jesse Calloway, Mrs. Carl Dearlove, Mrs. Henry Mehaffy, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Robert Mehaffy, Danville; and several grandchildren.
