I am a SPERRY family researcher and am in search of information which would identify the SPERRY family members who were responsible for the naming of a community after them in Des Moines County. I know that several SPERRY family members lived in western Illinois, Wisconsin, and Nebraska, and perhaps the history of SPERRY, IA, could assist me in researching those families.
