My search has just taken me to Iowa. The primary name I know, at this point, is RANBARGER and variations of that name. Part of the family was in Illinois from about 1825 (Lawrence county), and eventually in the Rock Island county area. Some of the family remained in Kentucky. We have them there from the late 1700s.
