Jadeynn Mikeal Martin Gold, age 27 days, died suddenly Thursday morning, November 30, 2000 at the Great River Medical Center, West Burlington. The son of Louis and Becky Bentley Gold, he was born November 3, 2000, at West Burlington. Jadeynn is survived by his mother, Becky Gold of Burlington; his father Louis Gold of Burlington; a brother, Johnathon Gold; a sister Lacey Gold; maternal grandparents Tom and Rose Walker of Morning Sun; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Tammy King of Blytheville, Arkansas; paternal great-grandparents Sylvester and Alice Lopez of Davenport, Iowa; a step-grandmother, Donna Price of Centerville, Iowa; an uncle, Clint Walker of Morning Sun; two aunts, Jennifer and Jeff Johnson of Danville, Iowa; and Melody Gold of Burlington; and several cousins. Jadeynn was preceded in death by a sibling, Angel Gold. The funeral ceremony for Gadeynn Gold was held at 2 pm Sunday, December 3, 2000 at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, with the Rev. Tim Ashbill officiating. Music was provided by Kathleen Hagele as the organist, and a selected recording to 'In The Garden'. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery, rural Wapello. The casket bearers were John Steele and Dwight Walker
