DORA E. PFORTS Mrs. Dora E. Pforts, 69, of 619 Washington Street, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday at her home after a 2-year illness. Mrs. Pforts lived here for 16 years after moving from Mediapolis. She was born March 19, 1880 in Kingston, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silas* Brockway and married here in October 1915 in Burlington to Louis Pforts. Surviving are her husband, 5 daughters, Mrs. Jessie Callaway, Mrs. Velma Dearlove and Mrs. Evelyn Mehaffy, all of Burlington; Mrs. Marguerite Erickson, Davenport; Mrs. Gertrude Mehaffy, Danville; a son, Olla**Lyons, Muscatine; 2 brothers, William Brockway, Muscatine; Harry Brockway, Kingston; 2 sisters, Mrs. Fannie Hinson, Burlington and Mrs. Nellie Avery, Danville; twelve grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. THursday at Giles funeral home with Rev. T.T. Mc__d. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. * should be Elijah **should be Ollie
