I am not related to Mrs. Frost and have no further information. Betty Jean Frost, 74 of Mediapolis, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2000 at the Morning Sun Care Center. The daughter of J.A. and Lelia Todd Martin, she was born October 13, 1925 at Mediapolis. On May 31, 1947, she married Dean A. Frost at Mediapolis. She was a 1943 graduate of the Mediapolis High School. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids in 1947, and her master of arts degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. in 1966. She taught elementary and junior high school for 26 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta and Pi Lamda Theta sororities and the White Star No. 388 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband of Mediapolis and several cousins. According to her wishes, her body has been cremated and there will be no visitation or service. Burial of her cremains will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Osh Kosh, Wis., at a later date. Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis is in charge of the arrangements.
