I am not related to Mrs. Gadau and have no further information. Beverly B. Gadau, 71, Burlington, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. She was born January 22, 1929 in Morning Sun, a daughter of Critz and Marjorie Morrison Brown, and graduated from Morning Sun High School. She married Walter F. Gadau on October 9, 1955 in Morning Sun. She was affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church in Burlington, the Burlington Golf Club, Ladies Bowling Association and Civic Music. She had many interests. As well as being a homemaker, she had a great love for music and the arts. She enjoyed spending time in her rose garden, interior decorating, and working with special clients while being employed at Brincks for more than 10 years. She is survived by her husband, Walter of Burlington; two sons, Michael Mason and his wife Cynthia of Marlton, N.J., and Kurt Gadau of Burlington; one daughter, Beth and her husband Frank Papahronis of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Barbara Cassidy of Monticello and Lucretia Green of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gadau was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. There was no family visitation. A memorial service was held at 3 pm Wednesday, July 12, at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Forrest Krummel officiating. A memorial was established in Beverly's memory.
