I am not related to Mr. Noble and have no further information. Freddie Lee Noble, age 54, of New London, Iowa and formerly of Burlington, died Monday evening, Oct 2, 2000 at Great River Medical Center at West Burlington. The son of Donald R. and Mildred M. Perkins Noble, he was born September 30, 1946 at Burlington. He married Connie Lynn Jester on October 26, 1995 at Oquawka, Illinois. He was a graduate of Wapello High School in 1965. He has worked at General Electric at West Burlington for the past 25 years. He was a member of the 7th Infantry Gun Club. Freddie enjoyed gardening, working in the timber, and especially his family. Survivors include his wife, Connie; a son, Nicholas Noble of Burlington; two granddaughters, Hope and Destaney; his mother, Mildred Noble of Morning Sun; and a brother, Donald C. Noble of Columbus Junction. He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Peter. The funeral ceremony for Freddie Lee Noble will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, October 5, 2000, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home at Wapello. Burial will follow at the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home where the family met with friends from 6:30 to 8 pm. A Memorial Fund has been established for the New London Emergency Responders.
