I am not sure what his father's first name was, but his mother's name was Emmaline Roberts. He also had one or two sisters who married their Roberts cousins. The Ransdells, I think, were originally from somewhere called Surgoinsville or Surgeonsville, don't know for sure what state yet, am researching the McCabes at present.
