Hello, I am new to Iowa research. I recently found the answer to a long-time genealogical block wall. A great aunt married a man named John Herman Schulz b.1/24/1908. His 1994 obituary (he died in Arizona) says he was born in Burlington Iowa and was survived by two sisters: Viola Schulz OLSON and Lena Schulz NOTZKE. Can anyone suggest possible information sites for Burlington or Des Moines County? All suggestions for genealogical research for that area would be appreciated.
