Lucas, 92, 1815 Dill St., Burlington, died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at Danville Care Center. Born Feb. 1, 1905, in Keithsburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Edward and Cora Gray Humphrys. On July 9, 1923, she married Carl Lucas in Monmouth, Ill. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Lucas worked at Bock's Flower Shop. She was a member of First United Church of Christ. Survivors include five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Humphrys of Bettendorf. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one daughter. There will be no family visitation. A graveside committal service for Mrs. Lucas will be 10:30 a.m. at Aspen Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Milo Van Veldhuizen officiating. A memorial for First United Church of Christ has been established. Sheagren Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Lucas is not linked to me. Just hope this helps
