I especialy enjoyed the item about the twilight horse race at Johnny Wallace's farm.For maney years he trained and raced trotters.In 1908 he had a horse by the name of Colonel Axcyone that won every race,he raced on through 1910 breaking maney records and winning most if not all his races.They raced all over Iowa and the surrounding states. Uncle Johnny kept the 1/2 mile race track on his farm and trained horses most of his life. He died May 28,1953 Betty in Weldon.
