Irma, Has anyone told you where Four Corners or the Overton School was? I have been unable to find anyone that ever heard of 4 corners. My husband's grandmother,Sally Keeran, taught school at Overton befor she was marrird in 1875 I knew that but it took me til today to find out where it was. It was one mile north of the Clarke/Dcatur Line and west two niles from (the Now) Highway 69. It was on the south east corner of a north/south and east/west cross roads. ???could this have been the Four Corners???? Weldon is 2 miles east of Highway 69 on the County line, I live in Decatur County, Betty in Weldon. Will someone tell me where the Overton School was located. It must have been in Clarke County........I haven't heard of it before. Then, where was Four Corners? from Irma Overton
