The balcony overlooked Graceland college's court at Lamoni. Hoffman, suffering from a torn muscle incurred while officiating at the Graceland-Centerville junior college game last week, refused to let the injury hamper him. Supplied with a megaphone and aided by Graceland's assistant coach, Walden, who handled the ball on the floor, Mr. Hoffman very efficiently refereed the remaining quarter of the game.
