Bobby Wion is the owner of a fine goat that Mr. Spencer gave him. Bobby is real proud of her. Mr. Spencer bought five goats at the community sale at Lamoni. War times now, and a lot of people are wanting milk goats which can easily be kept in the back yard. Fred Wion and family were Leon callers Saturday evening. Leonard Alexander and wife were Leon callers Saturday. School elections passed off quietly. Fred Wion was elected director. Bill Wmith is moving hay out on the Mrs. Tom Allen place, which he has rented. Charley Green and son Archie were Lamoni callers Saturday afternoon. Fred Wion and family visited Mrs. Wion's parents Sunday afternoon.
