    3. The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, July 9, 1908 MISS BESSE SWOPE was united in marriage at Denver, Colo., Wednesday, to MR. ELMER DILLMAN, of Vernal, Utah. MISS SWOPE has been making her home in Chariton with her aunt, MRS. R.D. PIPER. She is a young lady of refinement and culture with a pleasant manner and sweet disposition. The groom has visited relatives in this community, and it was on one of these visits he met MISS SWOPE. He is engaged in undertaking and furniture business at Vernal, Utah, and has land interests near that city. After a short wedding trip they will go to housekeeping in Vernal. PIPER and little daughter MARGARET, and niece MISS BESSE SWOPE, left Sunday night for Denver, Colo. They were accompanied by MRS. PIPER's sisters, MISSES HARRIET and FANNIE SWOPE, of Garden Grove.
