i am going to try this method of getting to John Kane since the email he posted does not work. I hope you read this and contact me. John, I don't know if I can help or not. My husband's ancestors were the Williams' from High Point, Thomas and Rachel. Their daughter Louvina married Louis Clark, they had a son John Clark. who I believe was named after Louvina's brother John Williams. I have three children for John and Isadoro. They are Emmett (1891), Ruth ( 1893) and Clair (1878))(who died in childhood in 1890). Since there is such a large number of years between Clare and Emmett, i am sure there could be more children. I don't know if this helps or not. I would be glad to share what other information I have. There is a connection to the Ramseys as John Williams (John Clark's uncle) married Harriet Ramsey (dau of John Ramsey) in Decatur County in 1866. They are all buried in the Highpoint cemetery.
