    3. J.O. Moon.. Last year at Lamoni's Civil War days they had a cemetery walk and they had a guy representing J.O.Moon. It was a very interesting walk. (For those who don't know what I am talking about, they have a tour of Rose Hill Cemetery and they stop at the Civil War vets' stones and a re-inactor comes out from behind the stone and tells a little bit about that person "as" that person. Very educational. They are doing the Cemetery walk again this year THIS weekend. (I am not sure if J.O. Moon will be represented this time) For those who are going to be in the area this weekend (labor day weekend) Lamoni's Civil War days will be going on. Here are some of the activities: Current Schedule: · Friday - reenactors' registration, set-up encampments o 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Needle Arts and Quilt Show ("The Gallery" on Main Street) · Saturday - September 3, 2005 o 9:00 AM Opening Ceremony (Central Park) o 9:30 AM Period Fashion Show (Central Park) o 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Needle Arts and Quilt Show ("The Gallery" on Main Street) o 10:30 AM Artillery Demonstration (Central Park) o 11:00 AM Sampler Presentation & refreshments (Community Center in Central Park) o 2:00 PM Battle Demonstration o 4:00 PM Daylight Cemetery Tour (Rose Hill Cemetery) o 5:30 PM Period Musical Entertainment (Lamoni High School Gym) o 6:30 PM 18th Century Period Dance (Lamoni High School Gym) o 9:00 PM Candlelight Cemetery Tour (Rose Hill Cemetery) · Sunday - September 4, 2005 o 2:00 PM Battle Demonstration o Break camps Last year I had the chance to watch one day of the battle and take the tour, and see the fashion show. I would recomend it to anyone here that wants some (free) education. :-) Stacy ----- Original Message ----- From: <Momdit@aol.com> To: <IADECATU-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 2005 11:44 AM Subject: [IADECATU] Another Website Addition Today > Also the Biography of J.
