    1. Re: [IADECATU] off the record, movie to see; Decatur Co. connection!
    2. This isn't totally "off the record" ... Orlinza Appleton Bullock, III was captured and participated in the Bataan Death March. Orlinza's father, Orlinza Appleton Bullock II, was born in Lamoni. Orlinza #2 was the son of Orlinza Appleton Bullock I and Aure Ola Brockway. Aure was raised in Decatur City, the daughter of Albert and Abigail (Jaquith) Brockway. Orlinza #1 was the son of Timothy Benjamin and Delilah Fidelia (Day) Bullock. The Day family (head of family Joshua Rufus Day) were in Decatur Co., Iowa by 1856. Lynnea (Bullock) Dickinson D'port, IA In a message dated 8/13/2005 10:26:21 P.M. It starts with news footage then fades into the movie, from the moment it starts, you are drawn in and it never lets go. I had always heard about the Bataan Death March, but not much was ever said, or rather I had not heard much about what had happened to the men who actually survived the march.
