I just received this very sad note tonight and thought those of you who have corresponded with Gayle in the past, would want to know. Her e-mail address was Gayle1@wheatstate.com I've included a note I received from her in December. Hi Nancee! I hope this finds you doing well. Some time back I wrote and introduced you to my cousin, Beth who is Homer Inman's granddaughter. The last I spoke with her she hadn't contacted you. Do you need information from her? If so, let me know what you would like to have and I will push her to get it sent this way. Glen and I are doing well. We spent a day in Des Moines at the State Historical Society copying obituaries for my Storm Lake Holmes family. I could have stayed for days, I haven't been there for about 12 years. I just need to see what they have there. I noticed they had county records. Do you know if those are the same records that the LDS copied some years ago? We spent the night with Sue and Melvin Beavers at Dallas Center. They are doing well. I cannot remember where you live, but I am guessing you have had snow and wind and cold, frigid temps there as well! Gayle in Kansas ---------------------------------------------------------------- Gayle helped write 'The Riddle-Beavers Families' book, of which I have a copy. I'm also including the note I received from her family about her death. You can contact them. We apologize for the mass emailing but we don't know how to reach all of you. We have sad news. On Monday, January 9, Gayle and Glen were in a car accident in Joplin, MO. They were on an antique buying trip. We lost both of them. The family is in the process of making the arrangements now. There will be an obituary in the Emporia Gazette. Thank you for your support. If you know of any other family members or friends that we may have missed, please pass on this information The children of Gayle and Glen Gardner Email: kandk63@sbcglobal.net - if you have questions

Nancee, Thank you. I have corresponded with Gayle regarding the Riddles-Beavers Genealogy as my husband shares those early ancestors. I would not have known if you had not shared this sad news. Jane Dorsey
