Mrs. Elven Hartley was hostess at a lovely party at the home of Mrs. James Browning of Tuesday afternoon, it being the July meeting of the Embroidery club. Mrs. J. L. Bay, Mrs. F. W. Whan, Mrs. Carl Casey and Miss Blanche Dickson were additional guest. After roll call devotional exercises were conducted by Mrs. O. O. Greenlee. Reading of the minutes and other business of the club came next. Mrs. Perry Rockhold, Mrs. Ivan Austin, Mrs. Charles Sears and Mrs. J. J. C. Rockhold received birthday gifts from their Mystery Pals. A delicious two course lunch was served by the hostess and then the ladies enjoyed an hour visiting. Miss Natalie Bolton left Wednesday for Kansas City, Where sh will be met by relatives from Abilene, Kansas with whom she will visit. During her visit with Miss Alice Murphy. She was the recepient of sereral courtesies. Monday evening Miss Jame Dailey entertained a group of young ladies and gentlemen at the Canteen-Pool, cards and dancing made the entertainment of the evening, with Miss Bolton as guest of honor. Misses Alice Murphy, Jeanne McElfish and Miss Bolton were luncheon guests of Miss Dailey on Tuesday. That evening the same group with Mrs. Holly Ford were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Murphy. Later Mrs. Ford took these young ladies, Larry Laughlin, Jerry Budwig, Sammy Beick, Don Ford and Martie Walker to the swimming pool at Princeton.
