Mrs. James Adams and children visited her grandmother Akers at the Willie Akers home Tuesday morning. Mrs. Della Benton visited with Mrs. Ida Peck Thursday Morning. Alva Bridger spent Wednesday evening at the John Reuss home. Mr. and Mrs. Monte McClure and son visited at the Meek home Sunday. Doris McMorris spent the weekend with her parents at Leon. Mr. and Mrs. Bert adams, Mr. and Mrs. James Adams and children and Mrs. Sears were Leon callers Saturday afternoon. Bill Shelton of Ottumwa visited in the John Reuss home Sunday morning. Miss Louva Hanner of Grand River called on Mrs. Sears Saturday morning. Wiley Akers returned to California last week after a week's visit here with relatives. His daughter Jessie returned home with him and will make her home there. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Bruner and Mrs. Lute Shelton were shopping in Leon Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Priest have two grandchildren visiting them at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Hawk took Mr. and Mrs. John Reuss to Leon with them Saturday evening. Mrs. Mark Noftsger was a Leon caller Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Margaret Harsch of Des Moines spent several days here with her little son and other relatives. Miss Louva Hanner of Grand River visited over the week-end with her sister, Mrs. Blanche Sutherlin and family. Mrs. McHarness was a Leon caller Friday. Miss Audrey Graves a trained nurse from Chicago is a guest of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Graves and other relatives and friends.
