Miss Elaine Clawson spent Tuesday night with her friend Miss Norman Johnston. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Clawson and daughter, Elaine and Miss Opal Ellars were Leon shoppers Wednesday morning. Vernie Hull came Wednesday to help hay at the Fred Woodard farm. Little Dickie Priest came Thursday evening and stayed till Sunday evening with his grandparents, Clarence Ellars. Dickie Priest spent Friday afternoon with Jean Surber. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnston were Leon callers Wednesday. Maurice Lemons had the Misfortune to run a nail in his foot Saturday. He went to Leon to the doctor to have it cared for. Miss Beulah Clawson came down on the bus Saturday afternoon from Indianoia where she is attending summer school and spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Clawson. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ellars and Maurice, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Priest and children called at the Frank Emeighe and Elton Priest home near Tingley Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lorren Woodard and daughter spent several days last weeek helping Russell Thomas put up hay.
