Hi Stacy, You may already have rec'd this info since I get the list in digest form so am always lagging a little behind... :-) Think part of the problem is that she gives a different birth year than 1855 in the censuses. In the 1880 census Perry is 24, she is 17 (b ca 1862), listed as Jane, and there is a female child "D.M." age 1. They are in Richland Twp., Decatur Co. In the 1885 Iowa census they are in Long Creek Twp. and she gives her age as 22, so b ca 1862-3. In 1900 they are in Grand River Twp. and it gives her birth year as Aug 1861. Says she is Hannah Jane, the mother of 10, 10 living. Both censuses give her birthplace as Iowa and in 1900 it says both of her parents were born in Iowa. Children at home in 1900 are: Cecelia, Noah, Mary E., Grace and Willard. In the same household are an Albert Kelly age 26, wife Dalie M. age 20 (prob the dau D.M. listed in 1880), and grandson Elbe age 2. In going back to 1870, I finally found a Hannah J. Ross age 8--in Long Creek Twp. Head of household is Thomas Ross age 59 (prob her grandfather?), wife Margaret 60 (both b PA), "Isah" 24 (male--perhaps Isaiah?) b PA, Martin Samuel 10 b IA and Hannah J. 8 b IA. At least this will give you some clues to follow.
