I enjoyed the material that you put on the Decatur County List, Steve. You're correct, Iowa has had many coal operations in the past. I seem to recall seeing an article from the Des Moines Register about the last active coal mine in the state, and that was closing. This can change, of course, from month to month. The Iowa coal won't go away -- it will stay there until it's needed. And it be needed again one day. In an effort to find out more about the Davis City coal, I plan on stopping by the Iowa Geological Survey, in Iowa City, in the next few months.
