Joe Nulph and Gilbert Solf helped Tommy Owens butcher Monday. Madeline Beavers and Alyce Clark spent last week end in Garden Grove with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Clark. Audrey Woods took his little son, Kenny Lyle, to the doctor in Lineville Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nulph and son, Mrs. Ivan Carrier and son, and Mrs. Gilbert Solf were Leon callers Wednesday afternoon. Howard Ross, Bedford Ross, Gilbert Solf and Freddie were in Leon on Business Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lane of Des Moines came Saturday to spend the week end visiting relatives and friends. They and Earl Beavers called on Mrs. Minnie Elder Sunday. Belle Johnston returned to Des Moines Monday with them to spend a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Petty and family.
