A noted Omaha World Herald columnist, Robert McMorris, died this past week. He was born and raised in Leon, IA and graduated from the Leon High School about 1944. Some of his better-known colums were "Memories of a very small town". I am sure some of you will remember him. We lived in Omaha for 25 years and enjoyed reading Mr. McMorris's column every day. He made my husband remember fondly some great times in his hometown.
