STACY, In 1943 on the north east corner of the block was the creamery, to its north was Tailman Furniture, Rippey's United Food Market, two other business that I can't remember and the old hotel on the north west corner. I too have been trying to locate a photo of the north side but haven't had any luck, even contacted Bob Rippey's daughter earlier this year trying to locate one. Jack Scott, can you help us out? There was a huge grate you walked across and the "gentlemen" could really get an eye full if you didn't know the shop was down there. I remember we always walked around it. Also, I think on the North side of the square was a cafe and Dr. Brown's office.
