    3. ELLIE, I don't have or see much. I will send thro the Dec Co, Ia discussion group for any members knowing this family. You can go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~iadecatu/ and do a search. Also we are on the MO line, check adjoining counties/cemeteries. IFanyone drew a pension on his CW , would be a good place to check and order. best wishes. marie, iowa -----Original Message----- From: ILVYorkies [mailto:dandy@tm.net] Sent: Monday, October 24, 2005 12:28 AM To: mari@netins.net Subject: Decatur Co. Abt. 1806/VA - d. 21 Jan 1890, believe it was likely in Pleasanton Twp., Decatur Co., IA, where he resided for nearly 35 years and his wives. He was a C.W. Vet. He had several wives: #1Wf.: Lucinda Humphries, b. Abt. 1807-10(VA/KY) - d. Abt. 1871, Pleasanton, Decatur Co. #3 Wf.: Fanny Humphries, b. 21 Mar 1837-IN - d. 17 Mar 1914 at Decatur Co. Poor Farm, Pleasanton Twp., IA. Would she have been buried at the Poor Farm, and if so, where would I find those records? Did the graves there have markers? I also am looking for burial site of James Humphries, Jr., b. Abt. 1846/47-IL, d. ??/??/????, possibly Pleasanton Twp., Decatur Co., IA. There is also another child, Sally Humphries, b. 1843/44-IL, d. Bef. 1860, Pleasanton Twp., Decatur Co., IA. I would be very interested in any people with this last name found in your sources. Thank you in advance for your kind efforts and time. Ellie Hunt
