Is there anyone on the list that if familiar with the courthouse? I was in Leon in 1989 doing some research. and visited the museum that was in a building near the bank. It had an upstairs that was in disarray. I looked as though management hadn't had a chance to get up there. Anyway I found 2 books that were interesting. One was a postal receipt book, don't remember what the other one was. I became ill and we had to leave so didn't get to do further research. I would loved to have gone through the Postal book as it was loaded with information. I did find the following and would like some help in locating the record.. Humphries / rees, Fanny, guard (guardian?) of Box 16 Packet 734. I suspect it may have something to do with her husband's death. James Humphries died 21 Jan 1890. Fanny died in 1914. Thelma in Colorado

That's very kind of you, "disarray" is putting it mildly.
