    3. Is there anyone on the list that if familiar with the courthouse? I was in Leon in 1989 doing some research. and visited the museum that was in a building near the bank. It had an upstairs that was in disarray. I looked as though management hadn't had a chance to get up there. Anyway I found 2 books that were interesting. One was a postal receipt book, don't remember what the other one was. I became ill and we had to leave so didn't get to do further research. I would loved to have gone through the Postal book as it was loaded with information. I did find the following and would like some help in locating the record.. Humphries / rees, Fanny, guard (guardian?) of Box 16 Packet 734. I suspect it may have something to do with her husband's death. James Humphries died 21 Jan 1890. Fanny died in 1914. Thelma in Colorado

I try to stop in there every time I go back, every other year or so.....Holy Moses, what a mess!.......but it sure is interesting and worth a whole lot more than what you pay to enjoy it.....plus those ladies work for free! ----- Original Message ----- From: "M.
